In Europe we have 230 V outlets and its pretty useful.

i often run a small fridge while drving.
Also there is a small hairdryer in the trunk. my wife uses it after having a swim in one of our nearby lakes.
and some of my brtish frends are used to have a coffee-maker with them.

just give it a try..

Tried it a several Times on my 2018 European Type.

with battery-levels (SOC) between 60 and 22%. whatever i try... no chance to get the "Error" message.

No difference to see on the dog or on the guess-o-meter.

I always use one of the USB sockets located in the armrest.
there is no difference using the left or the right one.

On my 2018 Outlander i use a really cheap Chinese Phone that's never listed anywhere.
Seems i am the one with the lucky hand.

Have you ever tried to connect with any other cable?
some cables are only for charging..

Try to get your phone connected while it s on flight mode.
I tried to connect mine (DOOGEE ) many times, my dealer told me that there might issues with chinese phones.

After trying with all other connections closed (flight mode) it worked.
