Re: Electric only range

Is the battery full after an overnight charge? If not there may be a "hidden" heating cycle draining the battery early in the morning in cold weather.

Re: Tyres - winter and summer - or not. A review.

Although the on-line videos clearly show shorter stopping on winters, it is with control that they real score - you can actually turn whilst sliding. But also the extra grip kicks in at around 7c. The criteria is temp and wet not snow & ice.

Re: Tyres - winter and summer - or not. A review.

Having only used my Winters once in anger to get me off a snow bound French motorway which was jammed with stranded locals, I would never want to use anything else at this time of year. Frankly having paid almost £30k for a car, a few hundred extra for additional wheels & tyres is neither here nor t...

Re: Heater not working

My thinking is, that in general, the car tries to conserve the battery at all times. So it would be logical for the electric heating to cut out once the engine coolant has reached normal temperature because it will expect coolant will start circulating through the heater matrix but if the valve that...

Re: Heater not working

Ok - back here in steerage with our "no electric heater or MMCS" Gx3Hs we are ignorant of these technical wonders - and the frustrations they cause  One further thought about cold air after a while - does it happen when ICE is running? - as it could be the valve in the engine cooling system jam...

Re: New user query: how to interpret battery statistics output

I don't understand why you find it slow to pull away - in EV mode (like all electric cars) it can beat any petrol vehicle for initial acceleration 8-)

Re: Heater not working

Picking up from a different thread, is it possible to programme the MMCS to turn off heating?

Re: Burning smell, loss if battery, return car?

You say charging on Saturday finished at 00.23. Was the car then unplugged? I leave mine in and "on" all night until I use the next day. If there is a heating cycle programmed in for early morning, by 10.55 Sunday then the car will have cooled down enough for you not to notice. A number of people ha...

Re: Backlights for window lock, folding mirrors and it or adjustment knob and locks

I think under EU law manufacturers have to provide ongoing service for their cars for 10 years - oh hang on! won't apply after 1st Jan. Don't blame me I voted Remain
