Re: Can you run the air conditioner without running the engine?

I can in my 2014 Gx3h but only to cool, as I don't have an electric heater. How long for is a different question as air con uses a lot of energy.

Re: steep hill vehicle stall

This is the same problem as the PHEV's inability to drive over a brick from stationary - although it applies to all rotational machines with the energy input at the axle. Once it starts turning you get the benefit of angular momentum to keep it turning. Try riding a bike over a brick from stationary...

Re: Charging at public stations issue

Re: Just found me a "new" one...

Well done jaapv! - although perhaps the 5000 Euros discount reflects the pug-ugly facelift design and the fact that its not red  I'm still toying with an e-Mustang (if Ford ever launch it  ) as we are set to lose the London Congestion Charge exemption for hybrids in October, so I need to ...

Re: Wifi Password - Remote control app

I assume you did not purchase the car from the same "local dealer" - so they are entitled to charge you for it. If it was from another trader then you could get them to reimburse you, as arguably the car was not of "merchantable quality" without the current Wifi code and they have breached the Sale ...

Re: ICE running - does pressing CHRG do anything?

Difficult to test at present - as it is illegal to go anywhere  However, like ThudnBlundr I can't say I've ever noticed this - or even really thought about it. I suppose , if I had, I would have assumed that both Save & Charge control how long the battery stores the energy it gets from the ICE ...
