Re: Series Hybrid Mode - Racing Engine question

Yes, this is a regular complaint but is quite normal and a function of both the technology AND the unnatural quiet of the rest of your driving. In practice it is no different to changing down in an ICE to improve performance up a gradient and probably no louder than a similar 2 litre 2 ton SUV under...

Re: Charging failure

Could try disconnecting/reconnecting the 12v battery in the boot to see if it clears the fault code - otherwise probably have to take it to a dealer.

Re: creaking front seats!

On second thoughts the "5" was a UK dealer special, if I remember correctly, with the seats being replaced on arrival with leather ones, so there is more of a chance of poor quality fitting. See what your dealer says. :!:

Re: creaking front seats!

As you can see, I've been here a long time now but don't recall this ever coming up before and is certainly not an issue with my 2014 car. However, as you can't know how the car has been used previously - e.g. very heavy loads pressed up against seat backs, kids hanging off them or just bigger than ...

Re: Exhaust for a 2014 phev old style

Who is supposed to be doing the fitting? If it is the dealer, then they can confirm whether a 2016 exhaust will fit. Even if it is an independent then Mitsu can have no reason to withhold the info, as they are unable to supply the part themselves - lean on them

Re: 12v battery replacement UK

And no PHEV work involved - so Halfords & Kwik-fit are perfectly capable of fitting - well, as "capable" as anything else they do! ;)

Re: Battery pack replacement

So what does a dealer call a "low mileage" bargain outside the British Empire?

Never mind farmers discussing acreage!

Re: Help! Parked in cold weather and starting system won't turn OFF

According to my manual, anything below minus 15c is outside its operating range and you cannot expect it to perform properly, if at all :o
