I must confess, I forgot some settings are done via the MMCS unit, a bit of a pain that they will disappear; how are they set in PHEV's that do not have MMCS I wonder?

The main reason that the app can be set up at the dealer and not at a person's home, is that the person's device doesn't auto-connect to their home wifi half-way through the process.

Tried mine in the middle of nowhere where the car was the only visible Wi-Fi SSID and it still would not work.

But he says do not attempt to manually connect to the Wi-fi, the dealer definitely did manually connect to the Wi-Fi.

By putting the hazards on, the dealer de-registered any devices that had been registered to the car.

He did not press the on/off 10 times so it was not the deregister process.
I had already done that. He just did the 5 times to register.

Hi All Just thought I would share this. I was unable to get the app on my phone to connect to the car no matter what I tried. My car went i for an MOT today and I asked them to reset it and issue a new pass code which they did. I did say that I thought it unlikely that it will work so the nice lady ...

Also, where are you based? Is DAB signal good?
In mine I can usually pick up DAB but occasionally it just goes quite, usually in built up areas.
DAB is all or nothing so if the signal is weak you just get nothing unlike FM/AM where you will get something with interference.

Cant help with a solution but the sensors should be clearly visible. I am guessing yours is the newer model (chrome either side of the grill)? They are directly below the headlamp washers. Maybe posting a picture of the front of your car would help others understand which vehicle and spec we are loo...
