Re: Location Based Charging - Non factory fitted head unit

Pretty sure there is no such option as 'location based' charging settings.
Surely you can set it to just charge anytime and if the solar panels stop providing enough power it will just sit there plugged in but not charging? Or am I missing something here?

Re: Comfort closing?

Yes, the app will allow you to pre-heat / pre-cool the car. The app is a pretty disappointing experience; I am an app developer and this is one of the worst I have ever used. 16m range will be just about on its limit if you have a clear line of sight to the car, mine barely works with it right outsi...

Re: Comfort closing?

Good luck with getting the app working, it is quite a challenge but there is a good 'how to' post on here if you search for it. The app will allow you to remotely lock/unlock the vehicle; I say remotely, you have to be pretty close as the onboard wi-fi module does not have a great range; I think the...

I have never had this issue; I have had tyres put on by our local garage with no problems at all.

Click on the link in the post by @ThudnBlundr
There are detailed instructions to reset the Wi-fi unit which will deregister all previously connected phones.

Re: RemoteApp

I thought it was in all models but I don't know that for sure... If you follow these instructions (great post here https://www.richi.uk/p/mitsubishi-outlander-phev-faq.html#phevfaqE ; see section E); and you hear the Beep, or Beeps after doing the key fob thing then app should be available for your ...

Re: SSID not getting picked up

I think the Wi-Fi module can 'go to sleep' if not in use.
To 'wake-it up' you need to go through the Wi-Fi reset process here:

Re: Tailgate does not open

Also, don't have the key fob near your phone or it will not work either.
The amount of times I have tried to use key-less entry when the keys are in the same pocket as my mobile

Re: Older Outlander Car values

But equally how many batteries have actually needed replacement? I'd say both but the lack of a battery warranty Just spoke to him and he has managed to trade it in for £9k and the trader did refer to the batter being out of warranty as the reason for the low price. I can't blame people for being a...

Older Outlander Car values

A little odd but both a work colleague and I have just got valuations from a well know website that buys any car ;) Mine is a 2015 with 31,000 on the clock and they offered just shy of £14k, his is a 2014 with 70,000 on the clock and they only offered £8k. Why the huge difference? Is it just the mil...
