Re: Any experience with Phev on Marine Slipways and Towing?

4x4 'lock' on the PHEV also just means that both axles will be powered by the electric motors, there are no physical diff locks either front to rear or side to side.

Is there any way to drop the windows via the key as per many fords? Miss that on my mondeo. Was nice to be able to drop them all before getting into the vehicle on hot days.
You can get an aftermarket module to do that.

Re: Towing limit

Does it matter why? The manufacturer has stated that's what is, and it's a legal limit. If you choose to ignore it, it's all on you.

Be glad that it's 1500kg, in some territories where it's sold it is considerably less (1500 lbs in some I believe).

Re: Stuck Accelerator

I did a test over the weekend and with the accelerator fully depressed I pushed the brake with my clumsy left foot and my car stopped without a problem. I will feed this back to my work colleague as this is not their experience. Must be something seriously wrong with their car/driver. At what condi...

Re: Stuck Accelerator

That sounds a bit drastic, as all she had to do was to pull the selector stick to the right to put the car in Neutral instantly... :ugeek: You say instantly, but it's not instant. You have to hold it over on the Neutral selection for a short while for it to switch (to prevent accidental selection)....

Re: Volume control when using phone

I believe this is a SAFETY ISSUE. If you have to strain to hear an incoming call, you are not able to concentrate on the road. This MUST be resolved by MITSUBISHI immediately. Not sure that listening to a phone call is an intrinsic part of driving, therefore I don't see it as a genuine safety issue.

And try disconnecting / reconnecting the negative lead of the 12 Volt Auxiliary Battery.

Under the cargo deck flap, in the left corner, under a plastic lid.
Leaving it disconnected for a good 10 minutes to discharge any modules memory

Re: UK Rear Brake Caliper Safety Recall

I'm booked into Brighton Mitsubishi this Friday, I'll let you know what happens. I expect that as neither of my calipers have the dot that signifies the remedial calipers were fitted to have both calipers replaced, and then perhaps get some reimbursement towards my caliper that I replaced myself if...
