Re: Newbie

Make sure it has a decent amount of charge in it, preferably about 50%, so that you can properly test the EV mode with enough regen to be noticeable. A full battery will not allow regen, and an empty battery will not allow EV mode. Good luck with that, most dealers don't bother and drive them around...

Re: How to use 110 V AC outlet without headlights on

The manual is very clear. If the vehicle is not in READY, the drive battery will not be connected.

Re: 2014 outlander phev engine start issue solved, sharing experience

That's all clearly explained in the manual and is pretty obvious if you think about. The 12V aux battery is very small and running a high power blower will deplete it rapidly.

Re: New Owner 2015 PHEV - 19 kms of range

Just on your point about ECO mode and A/C - there is an option in the settings for ECO mode to either put the A/C into ECO, or leave it at maximum cooling. If you really want to minimise consumption in ECO mode, make sure the former is selected.

Re: Outlander Shutdown and won't start. Need to be jump started

Sounds like you're not 'Starting' the vehicle but putting into Acc mode and just running the blower until you flatten the battery. Re: Exhaust for a 2014 phev old style

I'd say it's likely, but not guaranteed. Have you tried searching parts suppliers to see if the part number is the same for an aftermarket replacement for each MY? Or a Mitsubishi parts fiche if they are available online anywhere?

Re: Charging vs Preheat

The problem is that the top end charging happens at a slower rate to balance the cell voltages, so the interior would probably cool well before it gets full again. Seriously, just accept that you can't easily do it and move on with your life. Driving off with 90% charge is a #1stworldproblem in the ...
