Re: What fuel consumption can I expect on 50mile run on motorway?

From my experience, I've tried to use the Save and Charge functions during my 2 years with my Outlander and the best advice I received was to just let the car do its thing and drive how you would 'normally'! I recently had to drive to a destination 54 miles away, then return home and repeated this t...

Re: Button to close rear tailgate no longer working

Remote: unlock, tap tailgate twice. 100% working for me. Fantastic! :D Since I got my Exy 2 years ago, I've never had the remote boot opener working but when I saw this, I went out and gave it a bash and...it works! This will save me a few seconds when doing the shopping ( ) but it also gives...

Re: High Level Brake Light Replacement

Very well done! I must admit I would've done the same ;) I don't suppose you could post some pics and/or instructions, please? I'm sure some other members (myself included :D ) may have to do this. I've seen a ring of green algae around the lower rear light clusters and have plans on doing this when...

Re: Hands free phone volume too low to hear

I've tried to find the setting to change the car to LHD so the volume comes out of the right hand speaker, as Nibbo has done, but I can't seem to find it on the Infosystem. Can anyone tell me where it is please?

Cheers

Re: Hands free phone volume too low to hear

That the sound comes from the passenger side is normal. Passenger side depends on which side the steering wheel is on... mine is RHD and sound was from passenger side. I changed it in the settings somewhere to LHD and now it comes from the drivers side, much clearer sound ;) Thanks Nibbo - that's a...

Re: Slight squeal from rear

Maybe suspension - springs or dampers?

Either way, it doesn't sound too bad and I'm sure they'll sort it on your service. :D

Re: Outlander Phev

Hi Craigs - for my tuppence worth, I don't have a caravan or tow anything but I was covering in an office 60 miles away which entailed an hour's commute (most of it on the motorway and the city bypass, so travelling 60 - 70mph) for 3 months. Unsure of what mpg I was getting but my tank would last 3 ...

Re: Ev system

Thanks, my car is with in 5 years Mitsubishi guarantee period. Is this not covered under warranty? I know, I can ask this from dealer tomorrow, but I’m really worried now 😢 Hi - sorry but I'm not sure! When my car was removed from the recovery truck, one of the dealer's mechanics came out and plugg...

Re: Ev system

Hiya - I had an issue with the EV system whilst charging it, and it wouldn't start so I called my local Mitsubishi garage and they told me it's a fail safe on the car to prevent further 'damage' and your car cannot be started by you. I had to take it to the dealer who ultimately charged me £100 to r...
