Re: MOT brake test

Even "Proper" 4x4 like the L200 or ranger can still go on the rollers, as they are not Fulltime 4WD. But if a car is fulltime they use a brake decellerometer instead. Here in Victoria, Australia all roadworthiness vehicle tests (like an MOT) use a decellerometer test to check brake operation.

If you have an SDA do you know how to access the service menu?

In the menu is a system test folder. You can check the operation of the DAB tuner in there

Re: Cable route - boot to rear bumper...

If you have a towbar you will already have a hole in the left rear 1/4 panel behind the bumper. It has a nice grommet already there, and you should be able to squeeze a antenna cable through if the connector is small enough. If not, Make another hole close by, and use a suitable grommet and some sil...

Re: My electric generator stops in 10 seconds

Perhaps the effort of starting the ICE when it does kick in is enough to drop the voltage on the 12V battery to a critically low level and this is what's causing the weird behaviour after that with the engine stopping again...? The vehicle doesnt start the ICE with the 12 v. There is no starter mot...

Re: MMCS has stopped working

Have you checked every fuse? in both boxes? The fuse designated for the circuit may be ok, but another fuse may be blown. There is no fuse on the back of these units.
