Re: Was ICE cold weather start formula reprogrammed?

So, you (well, some of you) are buying a $50K (Canadian) car and driving around in the cold with heavy boots, pants and coats on? Reminds me of my first car, a '59 VW with no heat. Used to have a scraper in one hand to keep a little patch of the windshield cleared off. An electric bike would be che...

Re: BMU Reset

At least when BMU reset is done it should be done properly followed by a DBCAM which completely discharge the battery and slowly charging it analyzing it's condition.

Re: Was ICE cold weather start formula reprogrammed?

A lot of folks have a suspicion that the car was reprogrammed, but it is not clear or proven. I myself bought the vehicle (used) last summer and when the cold weather came 5deg Celsius was the critical point for me. On every short trip the ICE was coming on after a minute of driving only to be shut ...

Re: New Phev specs released it seems

Also this : "Mitsubishi has added a new one-pedal driving mode, allowing you to accelerate and decelerate simply by pressing and releasing the accelerator pedal". Sounds good for those people that bitched about this here at one time. But one-pedal driving is not new in our older PHEVs! Leavin...

Re: Outrageous deal, something wrong?

I understand, but if this is so important document isn't it the first thing to check during private sale?
How can the vehicle be even transferred to another owner by the government if it's missing government issued documents!?

Except if he charges more than it needs to get to his next charging point with empty battery.
Then he clearly is wasting the fortune. ;)

Re: Outrageous deal, something wrong?

Is V5c some government required bullshit in UK? If it's so important how you do the transfer on your name without it?
From what I have read in first glance... why you should track vehicle registrations and insurance etc.!?

Re: When to use electric park brake?

Well I agree with the manual handbrake comment.
It is designed to be used after the vehicle is off or in P anyway. You guys can use it for drifting at least. ;)

Wiring trough the fire wall can be avoided by using an RF remote switch for less than 10$

I am using one of those to cut the power to the engine relay and make the vehicle a full BEV when I want to.

Re: When to use electric park brake?

However, in the PHEV in B0 with no pressure on the accelerator there is still power supplied to the motors to prevent drag when coasting. Perhaps you can't remove that low power input unless neutral is engaged or in park. I personally acknowledged in my previous posts the power supplied to the moto...
