Re: How empty can it go?

I can concur with that said above. As I live within 2 miles of fuelling station, and most of my recent journeys are more than 10miles (managed a total of 19 miles on sunday, what a treat), I gain nothing by waiting to fill it. Sunday was the first time I managed to put more than 38L in the tank. 39...

Re: Using PHEV as a backup generator

There is a guy in Australia does just that. I found the clip on youtube a while back, but the channel owner is one of those who tries to operate a phev without using petrol, or connecting it to a charger.... That's just too annoying for me. Needed a pretty serious inverter, given he was in the middl...

Re: So I went to see this outlander today…

My front grille badge looks worse than that. Mine was a 67 plate. The finish on the grille was poor, and it suffered badly from the normal road grit, winter salt, bugs, powerwashing etc. I'm laughing at the seat photo. Most of our work vehicles had no upholstery in that area after years of heavy use...

Re: Who are you?

1. Owner 27/11/2020 2. Oct 2017 Kotu 3. Facelift 4. Recent house move& shorter commute saw first a change from diesel to petrol, but even petrol wasn't efficient enough and PHEV was the ideal solution. Petrol car started giving expensive trouble, decided not to throw any more money at a 2010 car, an...
