or should it 'just work'
Depends if your fridge is designed to work on 100V.

Also, what frequency is the Japanese inverter, as half of the country is 50Hz and the other is 60Hz. Your fridge may not care.

Re: Fuel Stabilizer

The OP asked if any fuel conditioner can be used to extend that period, but nobody responded. The period is the period, counted by an electronic clock. It knows nothing about the fuel quality so fuel stabilisers will do nothing to extend the warning period, but may give you peace of mind to use one...

Re: MY 2014 servicing diy

I own my warranty expired PHEV for little over a year and so far have driven about 300km( in words three hundred) on petrol. What would need to be serviced? I would do an engine oil change - oil that has not been regularly heated to evaporate moisture out can be very acidic. However, you have to ba...

Re: Buying a relatively new Outlander PHEV (UK)

Road tax is very high on newer cars. Road tax is still non-existent on newer cars since 1936. The entitlement to use roads is free to all, and the maintenance for them is supported by general taxation such as Income Tax, VAT etc. Vehicle Excise Duty the tax that you pay to pollute, is no longer fre...

Re: Small But Annoying Noises

Your steering wheel click sounds like a perfectly normal thing where the actuator for the turn signal cancelling is in action.

Re: New owner wondering about eco mode

ECO Mode feels more sluggish as all it does is remap the accelerator pedal to be more sensitive so you are less likely to press it so far and so rapidly. It can also be setup to reduce the Air Conditioning power, but it's a user choice through the menu. Apart from those 2 things, it does nothing els...

Re: Gurgling/rustling noise from AC system

perfectly normal. it's the sound of the expansion of the refrigerant from liquid to vapour.

Re: Viewing electric vs petrol usage

you can look at the charging history from the vehicle screen. go to Info - EV Info - Charge cost and you can see short term and long term charge history. that will tell you if it's been used as a company car without charging, or if someone has regularly used it as a PHEV
