Re: Max range

May not be much use, as it relates to my 2014 4H, but the best reliable figure I ever got was 29 miles. That was from new, which dropped to 26 miles quite quickly. After 4 and a half years, it's now showing 22 miles, and that's about right as to what I can actually achieve. So, for me, the estimated...

Re: Charge Mode vs Save mode on the highway

In Save mode, when the battery charge falls from the level it was at when Save was engaged, the ICE starts to re-charge it. When the battery has reached the original level, the ICE turns off. This cycle continues until Save is turned off. Thus the ICE isn't running continuously in Save mode. In Char...

Re: Does anyone have a list of battery connections?

Well, the drive battery is 300 volts. So assume that anything that's 12 volts is supplied from the small 12 volt battery in the rear. Augmented by the alternator when required.

Re: deactivate airbag

On my 2014 4H model, it's next to the glovebox in the door opening. Open the passenger door and look into the car. The manual does say that you shouldn't carry a rear-facing baby seat in the front. So why allow the airbag to be de-activated? Puzzling.

Re: Diagnostic scanner

That seems likely. But it still leaves the original problem undiagnosed i.e what happened when it was on the fast charger. I'm not at all convinced with all this computerisation in cars. There are too many instances of a fault occurring with no fault codes logged. Not Mitsu or EV's, just all makes. ...

Re: Diagnostic scanner

I don't see how using a fast charger could result in a flat battery. Any ideas, anyone?
