Re: Electric range of 2017 Outlander PHEV

Not very high, but just possible at this temperature, especially if it is a hilly area. What did the battery condition report say when you bought the car? Ah, and therein lies my rookie error. I haven’t seen a battery report for it, maybe that’s what I get for not buying from a Mitsubishi dealer bu...

Re: Let's stop ICEheat, when cold...

US 2020 owner here. I started a thread about heat but never quite got the answer. My question is... Re: Are my tyres an illegal type

Seriously, the Law and thus your insurance only requires that you adhere to the maker specifications regarding size and rating (and even a lower rating is allowed in some countries for winter tyres, provided that there is a warning max speed stick...

Re: Electric range of 2017 Outlander PHEV

The guessometer is not accurate to put it politely, but just an estimate based on past usage. To know the real range in your hands, just drive it.

Re: Ex fleet vs privately owned

Personally I would buy from a dealer, to be reasonably sure that it has been checked expertly and has a full service history; the battery guaranty still has a few years to run. On the other hand, these cars are very well built and rarely show defects, even by careless use. Two things I would never d...

Re: Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM)

It went wrong on me once - the car came to an emergency stop in the middle lane of the motorway without reason - fortunately the traffic was light. The dealer logged into Mitsubishi Japan who found corrupted software, reloaded and it never failed again. In general it works well, with the occasional ...

Whatever is your preference - but make sure that the car has a full dealer service history.

Re: Can we clear up Serial vs Parallel drive?

Too much calculation and estimation involved for my taste -let the car do the legwork- and you have to be alert to push that button at the right moment.
