Re: EV SYSTEM MAINTENANCE REQUIRED ALARM

driven until the stored charge of the battery has been used and the car moves to its engine mode I am starting to receive an intermittent alarm on the dashboard monitor for "EV SYSTEM MAINTENANCE REQUIRED" Have you done the DBCAM procedure to try and reset the battery capacity? It's possible this m...

Re: Deleting old devices from Remote App.

Does this have to be done prior to pairing a new device e.g. only one can be registered at a time? You can have more than one device registered, however there is a limit (maybe 4 from memory?). If you purchased your PHEV 2nd hand, you might first need to do the reset sequence above to clear the old...

Re: Maintaining SOC while towing a caravan / under heavy load

to what would you attribute the smell of rubber burning? High rate of charge/discharge of the battery? High usage of the generator/motor? I don't see how this can be normal under any circumstances. The rubber burning smell has been reported by numerous PHEV owners and has nothing specifically to do...

Re: Warning driving on rough terrain in a PHEV

conclusion is if you have a PHEV extreme care should be taken over rough terrain , its not like an outlander diesel 4x4 the undertray is extremely exposed , a cracked or damaged undertray could result in the need of a new EV battery pack , this will not be covered under Mitsubishi warranty , at $10...

Thinking of getting a spare wheel as well for longer trips. Anyone using one/ recommendations?
There was someone who had a swing gate with spare on the back, others carry in the cabin.

Re: Australians down under

Hi All! Very new to be PHEV owner here (and new to register on the forum), my Red Exceed should arrive on Friday, ahead of schedule. Can’t wait to be joining the PHEV community! Hope you enjoy it, remember don't overthink things, it works very well if you just drive it. "Save" button is useful for ...

Re: Use Phev batteries while car is turned off.

Is there a way you can use the drive batteries for other useful stuff, like running tools or a refrigerator, while the car is off? Is it possible while it's on? You have 2 options - 1. In Japan the PHEV has a 240V 1500Watt (from memory) powerpoint in the back, maybe you can source that and have it ...

Anko,

Can you pls. share what tools you are using to monitor all 80 cell voltages?
Anko sold his PHEV about a year ago when he swapped to a Tesla Model 3, so is long gone from these forums. He wrote his own software.
