Re: Australians down under

I called her 10 min later to come and get me.... guess who had the key in their pocket... guess who couldn't start the car ;-) I havn't had that one, however I have had the wife leave her PHEV key in her handbag in the PHEV, and when I try to lock it with the 2nd PHEV key in my pocket, the PHEV say...

Re: Australians down under

I am a new owner .... still learning all the little tricks that are part of these cars. Welcome to the "world according to PHEV". There is tons of info on this forum and Facebook, and plenty of happy Aussie owners like us (we also have an iMiEV) After 3 years owning our PHEV, a good friend of mine ...

This guy sells an aftermarket product for the 2014-2016 MY PHEV which prevents the ICE from starting under hard acceleration, its called the "PHEV box" http://evtun.com/phev-box.html

Re: Incredible computer error in PHEV MMCS!! Never drive her

I have to drive to the Mitsubishi service center to get it updated with a new software release. So, stay away from the very beautiful Brösarp where you still can go by a steam train! Or plan a route to Brösarp if you like to test this bug and get the new software!! Are there maybe such prohibited p...

Re: Using smaller wheels when towing?

You know the RPM of the ICE for any given speed, and the standard power curve. Can't you predict the result of shifting the sweet spot by 5%?
Do you feel the ICE is operating that far from its design efficiency sweet spot just due to towing being 10km/h lower speed than no towing?

Really? That's over 4 charges a day every day for 3 years! Surely heavy Regen must be counted as charging if 4900 is not a typo?

Re: Australians down under

Thinking of purchasing a used 2014 PHEV in Melbourne. There are currently a couple of dealers looking for between $30K to $34K (drive away) for cars with around 33,000km on the clock. A mate of mine just paid $26k for one which had done 40K km in NSW. Not an Aspire model. Are your choices for Aspir...

Re: Australians down under

modern four-stroke petrol suitcase generators in the 1 to 2kw range are small, clean and almost silent. As an owner of a EU20i for the past 12 years (originally bought for a Kedron caravan), I find they are neither odourless or silent. I would not wish to have one taking up space in my PHEV, nor do...

Re: Australians down under

I still don't understand this! The traction battery costs thousands of dollars and the car is useless when it wears out - surely you want to reserve it for driving rather than using up valuable life expectancy on your fridge, don't you? A Honda suitcase generator costing a few hundred dollars is th...
