Phone in 2020 GT

I'm hoping someone can tell me I'm wrong on how I'm doing this ... but on my Canada model 2020 GT I can't believe that making a phone call over bluetooth is so complicated. The system connects with my phone and has downloaded the contact list. No problems. And, yes, I have read the manual (quite pai...

Re: Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM)

Good to know that there is some safety here.

I just hope I don't have to discover that fact that it works :)

Re: Mystery Switch

No, I don't think that is it. I'll post a picture of it and we can all wonder :)

Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM)

My new 2020-GT has FCM. Got me a generous discount on insurance. Now, how well does it work? Any experience out there?

Mystery Switch

I got my new 2020 GT (Canadian) the other day. Got a great deal by trading in my 2018 PHEV that had been in come minor accidents ... I don't know if I got a going out of business sale price (I have no idea if they are or aren't), New Year's Special, or if I got the better end of a dealer :) Hey, I'm...

Re: TPMS Registration

Well, got it all fixed yesterday at my local tire shop. The sensors were genuine Mitsubishi. The tire guy had a handheld reader unit which he used to scan each tire, then he plugged into the port under the dash on the car ... the car and computer talked for a minute or so ... and all is now perfect ...

Re: TPMS Registration

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to start calling around here to see ... otherwise it's another day off to travel to the dealer. Yeah, I know about the set 1/2 ... my problem was that when the dealer switched the tires I assumed he'd set the TPMS sensors.

TPMS Registration

I just moved a set of snow tires from one Mitsu to another. They have Mitsu TPMS "things" in them, but the car is not seeing them. A quick internet search leads me to believe that a special device is needed to determine the devices and transfer them to the car. Is is something only a dealer (a 2 hou...

Re: Spare Tire Kit

I had one on my aging pickup truck. One day I did have a flat and went to change the tire. Of course, the weather was really crappy and I wasn't dressed for it :) But, once I found the jack, etc. I started to remove the tire ... the mechanism was rusted to badly that no amount of elbow grease or cur...

you're being overly worried about nothing. the engineers knew what they were doing when they programmed it.
:D not if you listen to the "engineers" on this forum.

But, I completely agree: Just drive the car. It works great!
