That's strange. I would have expected it to take the max power of the full 3.6kW; unless of course the battery was nearly full.
At the start my battery was full, I set the remote to defrost for 20 minutes, I charged up over night using my PodPoint EV, app recorded 1.7kW to charge up to full.

Yesterday we defrosted the PHEV remotely for 20 minutes, this morning checked the PodPoint APP 1.7kW

After 7 months of ownership and help off the forum I now have a better understanding of the Outlander PHEV, for some reason when approaching roundabouts, junctions and 30mph areas I would switch OFF the charge mode, it was just my mindset I did not want to hear the engine revving? I have now learnt ...

Our 2020 has the larger battery, however, this time of year we are looking at 25/27 miles with heating off or around 16 miles with the heating on. in the summer we were achieving around 32/34 miles on A road or 50mph on the motorway, dropped to 30 miles if travelling at 55mph and 27/28 if travelling...

Our 13 pin UK model required a dedicated wiring loom according to the fitting company.
