Hi,

Tried to buy a workshop manual, comes on CD, but Mitsi Aust says no go.

Anyone else tried in other countries ?

Would be good if we can get one up on the forum as they have good schematics etc on how the Phev works. The information I have been putting in the sticky, kindly sent by anko, in Technical discussion is not from a workshop manual but it has been quite good. A workshop manual goes into far more detail. The one already linked in discussions here previously does not have images and schematics working properly.

I uploaded one here: http://www49.zippyshare.com/v/D2Shvh5O/file.html

Download, unpack and you can open the index.html - file

From there it works on your browser

Sounds much more complicated than it is.

size is 80 MB

Hi Kim,

That is the same one I have seen posted on this forum before and the photos etc do not work.

But thank you for trying.

Regards Trex.

Hi

This one works for me, complete with all pictures:

http://mmc-manuals.ru/manuals/outlander_iii/iso/outlander_eur_2014_service_manual.iso

Download it and burn it to a CD, open it with "Browse (by simple Viewer)", if Your PC whants to start a webbrowser, click "no"

Also take a look in the "technical information manual" a lot of info there.

The link comes from this site:
http://mmc-manuals.ru/Mitsubishi_Outlander_III:_Service_Manuals

There is also a Workshop manual for the MY 2016, where you can take a look on the new front and rear style

Those links are for the Mitsubishi Outlander not the PHEV.
Could anybody please provide a link to a workshop manual in PDF version for the PHEV ?

No - because Mitsubishi don't tend to produce a single PDF version of their workshop manuals, unlike say Nissan or Subaru. Most of Mitsubishi's workshop manuals are in this format, with several small PDFs linked together with a bit of software to make navigation easier and link up with parts database and diagnostic software. Honda are similar. Also it's only meant to be used by authorised maintenance workshops (generally franchised dealerships), so not available to the general public. They also have access to more documentation on a secure web server.

The best you can do will be the pirated copies of this DVD, or third party manuals (eg Haynes) that aren't as detailed.

PDF files and viewers have fantastic ways of navigation too.

I found this online version that is currently working with images:
http://mmc-manuals.ru/manuals/outlander_phev/online/Service_Manual_2014/2019/index_M1.htm

...so it can be used more conveniently across all platforms with a tablet or something in front of the vehicle to compare things better.

I noticed Toyota forces you to use the Internet explorer on some ancient Windows machine with their manuals of later models too.
I haven't used the Internet explorer since 2 decades.

I work for UK Gov't and a recent "upgrade" of all our systems to w10 has revealed one of our key programs will now only run on IE
