I expect this may have been clarified before but, my 2014 GX4h has an un-badged MMCS (ie, I don't know what make it is - some of them seem to have manufacturers logos on them, but not mine) which has a display feature within it which is supposed to illustrate charge cost history, but it doesn't have any data on it and doesn't seem to work. It also has a service history display that also has no data in it. How do these features work? The overly massive owner's manual with my PHEV has a different type of head unit (are they still called head units?) in it to the one I have fitted. Is there a 2014 MMCS instruction book out there somewhere or is it too large to fit on the internet?

Well I did find what sems to be the right manual on 'carmanuals2.com' to download, but I'm a bit wary of downloading stuff from the internet when I don't really know where it's coming from. Anyone else downloaded from 'carmanuals2.com' without having the entire content of their PC marmalized?

In that case I would advise you to have some decent protection like AVG or Norton on your PC. Or, even better, to use a Mac device to download.

So I've down-loaded the manual from 'carmanuals2.com' and it's just the same as the one I have with the car! Still no mention of the MMCS. Is it some sort of Japanese state secret? Not sure that Macs are any more secure than PCs these days (I've only ever had Macs, don't know never used a PC), too many of them now,

If you PM me your email I'll send you the MMCS manual in PDF.

Macs are still pretty safe. A virus cannot alter the operating system, it can only trigger a password request, in the worst case Little Snitch will block any outgoing data traffic of a Trojan and if you want to be 100% secure install a anti-virus app like Virus Barrier Express.

I recently purchased a Phev, and was mystified as to why I could not see any charge cost history.
I discovered that the energy cost per Kwh was still set to the default of 0.00, hence no charge cost info!
Changing this to a non-zero value produced the expected results.

On the history screen, there is a button marked 'Set'.
Use this to set a value....

I found this http://www.mitsubishitechinfo.eu/index.aspx but it costs 6 Euro for an hour to view anything :?

Anyone done it - I would like an electronic manual for easy access - LR provided all this free on http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm :(

Happily, I stumbled across this topic -
http://www.myoutlanderphev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1756
which contain links to pdf's of the usual manuals, plus extra ones.

I found the Technical Highlights manual amazing - every Phev owner should have access to it.
