I'm going to go ahead and have 240 volt wired to my garage, to allow faster "top ups" than achievable with the OEM Type 1 included charger.

Can anyone recommend an available solution, preferably with CSA electrical approval. I'm open to hardwired type but would prefer a plug in type so I can use on either side of garage without running over it with other vehicles.

ALSO., as I'd like to monitor car charging energy usage, any suggestions for a meter that will measure and record overall watts, amps, and max of these two (ie for use between the 240 volt source and the portable charger??
Thanks in advance

I went with the Chargepoint Level 2 unit. It has a good app that allows you to monitor and control the charging. Around here in the BC lower mainland most of the public charging spots are also Chargepoint hardware so that app is very useful.
