I'm not sure I knew this already, so I thought I would post it here.

I knew the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid was all wheel drive, but according to NewsDay, the PHEV will have full time all wheel drive. Could this be because of the instant power of the electric motors, in order to make driving it safer, Mitsubishi made it full time AWD?

Mitsubishi's "Super All-Wheel Control" (code for all-wheel drive) can be ordered with four-cylinder Outlanders, but is standard with the GT. By mid-2014, Mitsubishi will introduce the Outlander PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) with full-time all-wheel-drive.
