Mitsubishi has announced the Outlander PHEV is headed to Ireland this summer, and will be priced from €41,950.

In one of the prominent reviews from that area of the world, the 'Independent' refers to the plug-in hybrid as a 'FEV' (rather than calling it a p-h-e-v).

So is this a common term used in Europe, or specifically in Ireland, or is this one person who is unfamiliar? Similar to people who refer to the Smart ForTwo as a For-twoah rather than a 4-2?

Likewise in our house - even though we don't own one yet lol...

We call it a 'FEV' but everyone that I have ver talked to about it is calling it the same as well so I guess its the way it should be...
