My phev has its MOT coming up and my usual garage has stopped doing them, so I have to go somewhere new, at my last MOT the tester did the brake test using a decelarometer, I'm just wondering if the phev can be tested on the rollers, after all it is a 4 x4 and my worry is that doing it on the rollers will damage it.

PHEV will be fine on the rollers as there is no mechanical connection between rear motors and front drive.

Even "Proper" 4x4 like the L200 or ranger can still go on the rollers, as they are not Fulltime 4WD. But if a car is fulltime they use a brake decellerometer instead. Here in Victoria, Australia all roadworthiness vehicle tests (like an MOT) use a decellerometer test to check brake operation.
