2nd Hand Aspire - No WiFi Password?

Hey guys,

I bought an Outlander PHEV tonight. So far only driven it the 25km home, but extremely impressed with it.

Was fiddling with trying to get my phone to connect with the WiFi "RemoteXXXX" in order to get the app working, but it says the password should be on the key. Looked there, looked in the manual and service book, but nothing.

Is there a way to reset it from the car? Or will I need the dealer whom I bought it from to give me the password (they might not have got it from the old owner?)

Any help would be appreciated.

The dealer will have the tools to access the PHEV computer and get you the WiFi password. My 3rd PHEV had a similar problem as it was a MMC executive original owner and the info was lost, but easily obtained from the car with the right tool.

I'm going back in next week to get another key made up. I will bring it up with them then.

So much to learn about the rest of the car though...
