Apple Car Play audio out of only one speaker

Sun Feb 10, 2019 9:31 am

So have a MY19 Outlander since Friday, but on attaching Apple Carplay by USB I can only get audio out of one speaker (passenger). Okay for sat-nav and telephone, but also want to use it for Amazon Music, an app that works with the Carplay, but really loses it's appeal if it only comes out of 1 of the speakers in the car!

Any idea's of whether this can be changed to be full-car-audio?

Cheers in advance,

(And why isn't there somewhere to put your phone when it's plugged in as they've taken teh connector from the arm-rest bin!!!! )

Had my MY19 4HS delivered today. I have the same issue, haven't tried Amazon music, but itunes and spotify come over all speakers.

Anything 'voice' so carplay/siri, carplay phone, or bluetooth phone only comes out of the left hand front speakers.

Quite bizarre.
