Hi all, New to the forum and about to purchase a used Outlander PHEV. We have a choice between a 2015 GX4hs or a 2016 GX4h. The newer vehicle is about £1500 more.
Is it possible to access through the in-car menu a readout of the car's lifetime fuel split between the combustion engine and the electric? Both cars have highish mileage ( 60k and 70k) but interested to see which has used more battery. Thanks

You can check how many times the battery has been charged with the PHEV Watchdog app and and ODB dongle.

Just to clarify for the OP - do you mean number of full charging cycles - for which the battery has a limit - or the number of actual partial charges - which tells you nothing about the battery "age"?

you can look at the charging history from the vehicle screen. go to Info - EV Info - Charge cost and you can see short term and long term charge history. that will tell you if it's been used as a company car without charging, or if someone has regularly used it as a PHEV
