Hi folks.
I have a 2014 series 4 with the factory fitted dab radio/satnav with the factory fitted aerial.
Which keeps catching on the up and over garage door.
Has anybody fitted a shark fin type aerial and if so what part number and did it affect reception.
I phoned my local Mitsibushi dealer and they said it was not compatible.
Thank you in advance.

There are plenty available on the Internet. this one is the first in Google.

A better question may be, will the Shark Fin from a newer Outlander fit the 2014 version?
My guess is that it would at least have the correct connections and be colour coded?
Anyone know if it would fit / part numbers?

I can't comment on Mitsubishi antennas, but I fitted a random ebay shark-fin and it has worked perfectly for many years.

I'm fairly sure the GPS antenna is somewhere else.

I couldn't get an exact colour match, but no one has ever commented on it.

(Except my brother who said: "What does that do?")

I may not have worded it correctly I asked my local Mitsibushi dealer this.
They say the newer models aerial fin is not compatible with older models

Thanks for that I was looking at one I may risk it for the price involved

Hi...If you replace it with an aftermarket aerial you might have to change the connector on the coax cable above the head cloth, which could be tricky. And I don't think a shark fin aerial would look right on the front of the roof.
