After 1 year and 10,000 miles my MY19 Juro has developed clanking noises in the region of the front and rear calipers when the brakes are applied.
Is this normal?

I suggest you should check if it could be loose calipers that would need to be tightened.
 
Have you got these between the calipers and the pads? If not, there can be some movement of the pad that causes a noise.

It is "normal" in the sense that it is common with worn disk brakes in general - however you should have it checked.
