I have a 66 plate PHEV Outlander. I am having problems with headlamps not coming on when dark.
The switch on column is set to Auto but nothing happens unless i manually switch headlamps on.
As i understand it the vehicle is fitted with dusk sensing capability managed by sensor in top of windscreen alongside auto washer sensor.
Any ideas what i try to resolve this please?

Are you saying that it used to work or that this is a newly acquired vehicle?

Also, you refer to it as a "dusk sensor" - does it work when it is properly dark i.e. night-time?

Problem is the light switch column has an AUTO setting but headlamps do not come on automatically when its dark.

Might I suggest that you RTFM

If you don't have one, they are all available to download from Mitsubishi's website. Downloaded versions are better than paper in many respects as you can search for text easier.

Just to be clear - if you have a basic Gx3h, without the large central info screen, then only a dealer can adjust or check the settings.
