I can't seem to find a DIY specific thread so please move this thread if needed.

Timeline (2019 Outlander PHEV):
Never used the "keyless" button on the driver's exterior door handle in 2019.
In 2020, I started using it to unlock my door and it broke on the 3rd time. Ironically I'd used the passenger side multiple times with no problems. The button would no longer pop back, but you could activate it with your pinky.
Fixed under warranty by the dealership (2 visits because the ordered the wrong part the 1st time)
Used it very carefully and it broke on the 2nd press.
Took it back to the dealer who will not fix it because they claim it was "damaged by the user". Unfortunately no photos provided. How would I even damage that rubber button if I wanted to...
Now it both doesn't pop back and can't be activated with your pinky finger.

Any ideas what might be the problem or a link on how to disassemble this thing to fix it properly? I'm not sure I want the dealer "fixing" anything else as I suspect they were the ones that damaged it during the 1st repair.
