    I have a 2018 PHEV GT, it's 34,xxx km. Sometimes, even the battery level is at full, the engine will start to charge the battery for about 5 minutes and then stop. and randomly charge battery again. No AC, audio or other thing turned on at that time. It does so more often in winter than summer...
