Really sorry, I don’t come on here much, here are some pictures:

    Part For Sale Snow Chains

I have two sets of snow chains for the PHEV to allow having one on every wheel, I no longer have the car and when I did there wasn't any snow at all, so they've never been used :D Happy to split into two sets if required, £30 per pair plus whatever it costs to send (they're not light). Can...

    Charging Algorithm for 12V Battery?

When a car is charging using a DC rapid the Car is certainly not off and the on board charger is in control of the rapid charger. It’s how it works, so it wouldn’t be great if the 12V battery ran out while charging......

What Level 2 chargers do you guys use at home?

Sorry it IS BS! EVSEs work to a standard, cars also adhere to that same standard, it’s unacceptable for a manufacturer to claim only certain devices work. If the car develops a fault after being plugged in to an EVSE it can only be a fault with the car, it matter not what the EVSE has done or...

    Front window demister

It only works below 5C, which is irritating!

    Extreme cold and battery

I think you can connect the external 12v to the main connection in the fuse box to the right of the engine. This is where the mechanics attached the jump pack for me.

    Front and Rear LED lights

Lol? Ok, as I said good luck I hope you’re right. Difference here is while there’s clearly no connection between the wrong lamps being fitted and a turbo, it would be difficult to argue that there’s no connection between non type approved lamps being fitted and the side lights. You’ve clearly...

    Front and Rear LED lights

Good luck, I think you may have a fight on your hands. The fitting of aftermarket LED headlamps is dubious at best and will likely invalidate any warranty; certainly any company worth their salt would throw a claim like this in the bin with glee. I also wouldn’t be surprised if similar issues...

    It's time to say goodbye

All good reasons and I do like the ionic, pretty impressive mpg. You have changed at the wrong time though, the 2.4L PHEV cashes in on pence per mile from a company!

    Charging adapter

There’s no benefit to you for getting a 32A cable, the PHEV can only draw 16A, it may be easier to sell at the end if it’s 32A as full BEVs can use this (though not that many use type one). You won’t be able to use tethered type 2 chargers unless you but an adaptor cable, however these are...

    Charging adapter

Hi and welcome, A type two to type one cable will allow you to charge pretty much anywhere as the most popular connection is a type two untethered. I’ve only come across a couple of tethered AC chargers where this was the only option so not worth getting an adapter for that imho. Service...

    Gas Use

And assuming the op is in North America, a gallon is much smaller, so 35mpg is better than you might think.

    New 2021PHEV

The advantage of a longer electric range is for tax reasons, and for the manufacturers to claim lower average CO2 emissions. As a company car driver I’m happy to pay less tax so would be interested in this. Obviously it’s nice if it achieves it too but not the deciding factor for most.

    Extreme cold and battery

There’s the normal confusion through this thread. The 12V battery is used to power the electronics and connect the traction battery to the drive system. This is what happens when the car goes into “Ready” mode. The engine is started from the traction battery, hence the 12v battery is so small.

Has anyone installed a driver's seat memory switch?

Don’t let your wife drive the car, then the seat will be in the right position. Fixed :P
