I can hardly imagine driving outlander phev for even near 100 mph. Even with full battery you cannot go further that 20-30 miles on that speed. And what's then? Just the power of ICE will not be enough to maintain this big car on such speed... (unless you are on i-5 in the middle of SF-LA on...

Based on other posts on this forum, Mitsubishi USA does not replace batteries on any level of degradation. Only if it fails within your warranty period.

I got mine in Oakland, CA. dealers gave me about $4200 off the sticker. If your local dealer can give you similar - just buy there. PS. I don't see lot of outlander in Bay Area. But it's not extremely rare car. When I bought mine, dealer said they sold 6 PHEV just that day.

Why just not set timed charging to specific amount of time, which is less that full charge time? let's say usually it takes 8 hours to charge your car. Set timed changer to change from 12 to 6 am (6 hours) this should stop charging at ~75%. Then you can use regen brakes, You can also consume...
