    Type 1 Charging Cable

MiPHEV is correct. We ue this cable in Europe. Be careful it's a Type 2 to Type 1 that's required. a Type 1 to Type 2 won't work. - I may be stating the obvious but I've seen confusion on this in other groups.

    Increasing/Upgrading - Higher Battery Capacity

Wish I was in OZ when I see that, Those battery upgrades will eventually appear in Europe but I haven't come across any yet.

General Question about the Air Conditioning Compressor.

I'll not bore you with a copy-paste of what I found using search engines, but try looking for something like "are there any independent EV and Hybrid specialist garage chains in the US" (or wherever you happen to live). There are some, probably depends on where each person is located. In...

    TPMS Service Required

Here's the TPMS sensors OEM reference if anyone is looking. I find most tyre fitters have the knowhow to handle TPMS equiped vehicules correctly, suppose you must have been unlucky.

What 12-volt battery for 2015 Outlander

What Year Model have you , It seems that the Optima is Ok for the 2.0 lit models (2014-2018), but not after the model change in late 2018 (2.4 Lit)

    24 km range

Last time I looked (January 2024) I was at 74.8% Soh. I haven't replaced anything yet, and probably won't do so for a good while. The Guessometer is now saying 40Km on a full charge (with no heating or A/C). I suppose when it gets down to 50% SOH I'll start thinking about it. It's not a...

    24 km range

Update: It appears the earlier Outlander models use LEV40 modules. https://www.secondlife-evbatteries.com/pages/mitsubishi-outlander-replacement-cells

    24 km range

In my case (2019 model) I know the drive batttery is using LEV46 modules which are standard Japanese battery modules. When things get too bad I'll get my local EV people to look at replacing modules. I've searched for the 2014 models but I can't find any references for the modules on the web.

What 12-volt battery for 2015 Outlander

Be careful what you order. I have just received a Optima Yellow Top Yt R 2.7 This battery is NOT compatible with my late 2018 2.4 lit. - No hole for the vent tube. - The clamping lugs on the bottom of the battery make it too large to fit into the compartment. I'm sending it back...

    Front wipers won’t switch off!!!!

This is from the manual for the 2018-2020 (2.4 lit) Models.

    Beeping lights

To check if you have a grounding (earth) issue. Reproduce the problem and get somebody to look at the rear brake lights when this is happening. Quite often a grounding problem results in the brake lights dimming and brightening in time with the indicators flashing. In that case a ground in or...

    Accelerator Issue

Hopefully there'll be some error codes that you can read using an OBDii scanner. The easiest way is with a bluetooth dongle connected to the ODBii plug and a free app on your phone. There could be quite a few reasons the car's going to limp mode, (if it is limp mode) . Is sounds quite surprising...

Outlander 2020 Dynamic - EV Mode Canceled/Not available

A brake caliper getting intermittingly stuck could cause that. (maybe ???) Try checking if brakes seem hot on any of the wheels when this is occurring, if nothing else it'll eliminate the possibility.

Key fob button to turn off charging timers does not work

Works for me. 1: Plug in the type1 connector from your wallbox or Charging point and do all the necessary actions so the box is ready to supply power. 2: Double press the button on the side of the keyfob. - You should hear the Type1 plug locking mechanism which stops you from removing the...
