    MOT brake test

My phev has its MOT coming up and my usual garage has stopped doing them, so I have to go somewhere new, at my last MOT the tester did the brake test using a decelarometer, I'm just wondering if the phev can be tested on the rollers, after all it is a 4 x4 and my worry is that doing it on the...

    Paint/warranty

I have just noticed this morning that there seems to be some rust coming through the paint, my car is a 65 plate so not that old, my previous car was 10 years old and not a single sign of rust anywhere, has anyone else managed to get a successful claim for paint under warranty, I will be keeping...

Do not be scared of using that charge button.

I haven't checked with GPS, but I agree with the speedometer being out, I have travelled a lot of motorway miles the past week with quite a few average speed check cameras at 50mph, I set my cruise control at 51 mph and other cars were still over taking me, so either my speedometer is out as you...

What Have You Done To Your PHEV Today?

I did a 400 mile drive today on just over 1 tank of fuel. The car made the drive so easy, I usually hate driving for more than 30 mins so this was a good test of the car.

Just a quick update, I got a new charger cable under warranty, it took just 1 week to receive the new cable, which I am very pleased about, it's also the new type with the bigger gland nut. I have also got back from my trip away clocking just over 800 miles, I averaged 40mpg, and that's with...

Looks like I've got the common problem with the charger cable and loose wire, I phoned my local dealer and they said it's still covered under warranty, I just need to call in for them to look at it and claim for a new one, hopefully it doesn't take too long to get a new one.

I had just used the pre heat for 10 mins, as yesterday my windscreen was iced up when I got up in the morning. This is probably it then. Cheers.

Thanks for the advice guys. One thing I noticed this morning was on my app it showed the battery full, but it said 3 hours 15 minutes to fully charged, is there a reason for this? Does it slow the last bit of charge down to a trickle? On my last charge I managed just short of 19 miles on full...

Hi all, I've had my 2015 phev for just over a week now, and I'm loving it, by far the best car I've owned, so far I have only used in full EV mode as I generally do short journeys, (the most miles I do in a day is 15) I was just wondering is it best to let the battery fully drain before...
