    2014 Phev washer nozzles

Got one windscreen washer nozzle which gives very poor spray, I've taken it off and given it a good clean and checked the tunes but reckon something has gone on the nozzle. Has anyone found replacement part that works? The ones on eBay don't seem to match the shape of the OEM part. Thanks.

    Engine Oil

Hi all I can see the owners manual calls for 0W-20/0w-30, 5W-30 or 5W-40 if they meet ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4, or A5/B5 of higher spec. I got a good deal on some 5W-30 ACEA C3 for my wifes car which is a diesel with DPF. I'm thinking this classes as higher spec and therefore can be used on the...

    Parking Brake Adjustment

Update - I changed the offending caliper with an aftermarket unit off ebay for £50 (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mitsubishi-Outlander-MK3-2012-2019-Rear-Left-Brake-Caliper/353012844276?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649). All sorted and working great so would recommend. The...

Help Please - EV system service required

I haven't got round to changing tyres yet as the tyre degradation is really low on the phev. But I have noticed that with the S-AWC screen on, the following is happening: As soon as the EV warning comes up, the S-AWC seems to disable as no more bars show on the screen. Can anyone decipher...

    Parking Brake Adjustment

Did you manage to get yours replaced again under warranty? I suspect if I ask them to do it as part of the recall again they'll tell me to do one.

    Parking Brake Adjustment

Thanks buddy, will give it a go. The job has been made slightly trickier by me stripping the adjusting nut on the lever

    Parking Brake Adjustment

Sorry, I should have said - the brake recall was done around a year ago and the handbrake was working fine on both wheels prior to me replacing discs and pads.

    Parking Brake Adjustment

So after replacing my rear brake discs and pads, i found the handbrake was barely holding. I adjusted the nut by the handbrake lever and got some hold back, however I was concerned as when releasing it the car was moving asymmetrically. True enough, when I got the wheels off the ground, the rear...

Help Please - EV system service required

Yeh will do, the previous owner had stuck a part worn on the one I've replaced hence doing them one at a time instead of pairs.

Help Please - EV system service required

Update - I spoke to the local Mitsubishi dealers as I had to book in for a safety recall. Told them about the light and they asked had I changed any tyres recently. I said yes one, and not to a Toyo. They said 99% certain it was that which was causing the EV system service warning light to come...

Help Please - EV system service required

Hi Johan, i don't keep the dongle connected. I did plug it in whilst the EV System Service message was still present yesterday but no error codes were found. The message is coming on when the dongle isn't connected.

Help Please - EV system service required

I have the same message coming up but it seems to only occur after about 30 miles of driving, and disappears again once turned off and on again. Can't see it being the 12v battery as the message isn't coming up on start up. My suspicion is it's something to do with a cheap set of LED sidelight...
