Center Console Tray for 2020 Outlander PHEV

As far as I know there wasn't really a change from 2018 MY. You could just order an OEM tray for a 2018 - it would fit.

ICE Startup Parameters In Cold Weather?

I've been noticing that my ICE always turns on during startup recently during the winter, but I have not been able to figure out what triggers it, as sometimes it turns on and sometimes it does not immediately. Vehicle is parked outdoors, plugged in. - Negative degree weather, sometimes on...

    Timed Air Conditioning Not Working

I have encountered this issue when using remote/wifi climate control while having the timer enabled. It is a system bug. What I find helped was just getting into the car, deleting all existing timers, and reprogramming the timers. Worked for me.

    Deleting auto fold mirrors

I disable mine in the winter so there isn't any strain/damage to the motors when there's freezing rain/ice buildup on the mirrors. I have it enabled in + degree weather though, as you stated it is very useful to just look at the car and see it is locked! There should be an OEM way of...

    trailer hitch

They are different. You can look up hitches at Uhaul. The Outlander has a part # of 78597 (manuf# 13163) and a rating for 4000lbs. The PHEV is listed as Outlander Hybird and the part # is CMF13398 (manuf# 13398) with a rating of 4500lbs (seems beefier).

    Hot day car not charging

Haven't had any issues charging my car in 30+degree weather (feels like 40+ some days  ) Did you accidentally turn on timed charging? When you plug it in, try using the charge timer overide on the fob.

    Modding the PHEV

Glad to hear the mod was a success. Any pictures? :D

    Pedal covers

I just ordered a set from AliExpress that someone ordered on this board and recommended. They are aluminum and do not require drilling for the pedals. Footrest drilling is optional I believe. I am still waiting for my set. They are listed a 2013-2019.

    Holder for sunglasses

I've seen people run the sunglass holder that replaces the grab handle above the window. You can find it pretty cheap on aliexpress. BUT someone told me it does interfere with "safety" of a vehicle. As in there's a possibility you'll get hit with it by the side curtain airbag. To each their...

    Solar charging

Would drag be that much though? I would assume he would expoxy/glue the panels to the roof sheet metal, like how people do it on their camper van conversions. For the trickle charging, would it be better to hook a solar panel setup to trickle charge a 12V battery/battery bank in the boot...

    Charging strategy and tools

I've noticed that whenever I plug into the chargers that show you battery %, mine always shows around 30% when in the car is showing the battery is completely drained and can no longer operate in EV mode. Also whenever I charge from close to empty I only consume ~8kW of electricity which is...

    Odd charging behaviour

Mine does the same thing almost any time I am charging. I attached one example of my car plugged into a ChargePoint station.

    WiFi Range Extender

Just wanted to add that the TP Link N300 range extender also does not work. It was on sale for under $20 so I thought I would give it a try. Pairing and extending the network was fine but the PHEV app would not connect to the car.

Is it not possible to program 2 different climate settings?

Hmm I've had no luck either. Even if you use the app and timer separately it still has this problem. First time I experienced this problem was: Timer to cool cabin weekdays just before I'm done work - this timer had been left ON for a few weeks. One early morning, it was a bit chilly so I...

    Modding the PHEV

Let us know how the outlander handles "off road" with these risers installed. Never had much good experience with these kind of kits in terms of ride quality/handling improvement. Not much different then ye ol' hockey puck lift kits I've seen on friends' vehicles back in high school. I'm...
