I've posted in the one speaker issue before - it's pants! And no other car I've been in/had has this "feature". Look online for a YouTube on the hidden maintenance mode for the display, and you can change left hand drive/ right hand drive, which will at least have the speaker closest to you.

Thanks. I've used chains on my x-trail, just that the user manual for the uk Outlander simply specifies 9mm chains, which are normally specified for cars, not a 2 ton suv - hence my asking if anyone has actually used chains on a Phex, and if so which ones!
