    Main beam adjust?

That's pretty much what I did - just kept fiddling with the fitment until the beam was in the right place. Don't know if I could repeat it though!

New PHEV in a few weeks

On the music front, I have an SD card with a music selection in the slot behind the screen, and a USB stick with a different selection in the slot in the centre console. Then there's always a choice of 2 playlists if there's nothing on the radio (but having DAB there is more selection there...

    Main beam adjust?

Hi, I had this problem and it took me 3 or 4 attempts to fix it. I finally did it by parking facing a wall, then turning on the main beams and fitting the lights with the light on. Then I could see where the beam was aiming while I was fitting it, and eventually after much fiddling and trial...

    Main beam adjust?

Thanks gwatpe. You were right, there are 2 ways to mount the bulb. I parked pointing at a wall & re-fitted the bulb while it was lit & managed to get it aimed above the dip beam cutoff - much better now. Still pathetic compared to the HID bulb though!

    Main beam adjust?

There seemed to be only one way to fit them. I couldn't see how I could fit them incorrectly. I'll have to check again.

    Main beam adjust?

Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the main beam. My main beam is rubbish with the focus below the cutoff of the dipped beam. Putting in the brighter bulb just makes that bit brighter, which isn't needed as the dip beam is brilliant (literally!). Can I set the main beam higher?

    Your next car???

I don't think it would be as lively as a Rolls with a jet engine! :D

    Hello! Stopped lurking and registered.

I also only use a 3 pin plug. I have an external socket & connect the charger to that. I charge overnight on economy 7 so the extra time isn't a problem. I tried to get a charging point fitted, as it was free, but they wouldn't do it as they couldn't get a mobile signal on O2.

    Music player / MP3 / MMCS questions

That's good info. I used the Tagscanner to tag my music. I also found out that the tags need to be ID3v2 to display.

    Problem with Main beam upgrade

I decided to upgrade my main beams with the Osram Night Breaker HB3 bulbs as recommended elsewhere on this forum. Simple change, but when I next used them, the beam was underneath the low beam, rather than above it, like extra fog lamps!? Any ideas how this can happen? I've put the originals...

Is a PHEV the "right" choice to tow a caravan ?

I've just bought a 4h and had a removable towbar fitted as an option. It was listed as a standard Mitsubishi option.

Got it - week one reflections

Yes, I've got radio 5, in fact that's one of the benefits of DAB is to listen to radio 5 as MW reception is so poor.

Got it - week one reflections

Got mine on Monday (ordered early Feb, waited for a 15 plate) 4H models seem in good supply. After all the rubbishing the MMCS has been getting on here, like you, I was expecting the worst. But, so far no complaints, it's responsive, the sat nav is way better than on my 8 year old S Max. Love...

    Extension lead

B&Q sell waterproof extension leads. The 15m 13A one is about £30. Works fine for me. Ray

I use charge mode for better fuel consumption.

In theory, the petrol engine is most efficient when at constant revs & speed on the motorway, driving the front wheels, so applying charge then shouldn't consume too much extra petrol, but provide extra battery power to enable EV only running during the start stop parts of the journey. My PHEV...
