Wifi Dead After Recall 020158 - Remote Security Reflash

since my 2nd service my wi-fi password (original one) is not being recognised, I have emailed the dealer (who mentioned nothing at the time) to see what is going on, but sounds like they have reset it to a longer string without bothering to say

Email received : ChargePlace Scotland Survey

I got that as well, typical now that I am working somewhere where I can plug in all day this comes up. Hopefully however since the car park I charge in is a private one they may opt out of charging

sorry this was meant to be a reply to another post

    IOS

For IOS devices you can expect an app update September/October but little chance of any decent features being added. The app will however as is almost certainly break with IOS 10 hence the need for an update

    Battery Capacity

I very seldom drive anywhere other than back and from work (80 miles) but to switch to an EV only car I would really not be comfortable unless the range was at least twice that, too much risk no matter the size of battery in running short if you cut it too tight, detours, delays, power cuts...

    Sunroof

Is not part of the issue here the need to find the cause. If it was the glass that had a fault then a repair will be fine, if however there is some misalignment in the build that actually caused the issue then a repair will just end up going the same way?

TPMS and switching from Winter to Summer wheels

success, there are two sets of menu on the 2016 model One from the touchscreen where the hidden service menu is reached by being on the info page and pressing info along with the right hand musc arrow, the one for the TPMS was on the small dashboard screen and it looked like the long press of...

TPMS and switching from Winter to Summer wheels

where is the setting in the menu for TPMS, been looking through the main menus and the hidden service one on my 16 model but can't see any option for it. I don't think however that my dealer cloned the id's (although they may have) they specifically said that they mapped the new wheels to the...

TPMS and switching from Winter to Summer wheels

I have winter tyres which are meant to be on the 2nd setting for TPMS. I have now switched to my original wheels (which should be setting 1), is there anything I need to go to switch the vehicle back to using set 1? I'm half expecting the TPMS warning to kick in once I have driven far enough.

    Brake light behaviour

Might explain the number of people that come of the road each winter as well. Engine braking (and the outland simulation of same) is a vital part of car control on icy roads

    FCM ????

I was just coming to the site to add this same comment. In my case the FCM and therefore also the adaptive cruise control was knocked out but a little bit of falling snow. It tried to kick back in a few times but went back off straight away and only was working again the next morning. Not...

Not an Outlander issue (I think)

From the app you can turn on the heating and lights for a start, that would drain the battery to a significant degree (although I think the heating will not activate below a certain battery level).

Went for a drive in some snow today.

Can't say that it is my experience, I drive on single carriageways mostly and have had no trouble overtaking at a decent acceleration, not counted but I would tend to do that for say half a dozen cars on my way home each day (35 miles)

Towed away again Ev system fault

I unlock car first, unplug cable, stick cable away in outbuilding and enter car, probably less than 30 seconds for me end to end, no issues. I unlock the car first however while plugged in to release the charge hatch locking mechanism to allow it to close normally.
