2014 model - HV Battery leak (OBC codes included)

Could be that the aircondition has lost its charge. The aircondition system is responsible for battery cooling and without battery cooling no charging or running.

Using my engine to charge the Battery v Home CharedEV

Remember, it's just an estimate based on your current driving. Next time it might be different.

    Outlander PHEV 2020 fuel consumption

That was never the case for our PHEV, 2020 EU model. It would stay parallel over 70 km/h. 90% of the time no matter Normal, Save, Charge. Heavy pedal could bring it to series mode, but again no matter Normal, Save, Charge. Best efficiency turned out to be Normal, you needed a very good reason to...

Outlander PHEV Single Motor Drive? - Mike Mas

There is no heat for free, and not even Tesla kan bend the laws of thermodynamics. If the heat pump is "making" heat and not moving heat its just converting electricity to heat. Compressing refrigerant release heat, but as soon as the pressure is released the refrigerant will take the same...

    Battery mileage

But did you get 66 km actual range driving? I don't think so, as no one else do that range on a full battery.... Which is a bit low estimate, but how much actual range do you get? Forget all about the display guessing range, it is only an estimate. And do log actual range without fussing...

Flattened auxiliary battery - any consequences?

There are 3 radiators in the front, one for cooling the petrol engine, one for cooling the gearbox and front electric motor,(oil cooling system), and one for cooling the electric converters and the rear electric motor. They all have to be functional before starting anything.

    Heating not working

Some models of lower specifications don't have electrical heating . In Denmark these were called "Invite" . Invite models don't have battery heating either. And that goes for other brands low spec PHEV's as well. Not very usefull in Scandinavia

Outlander 2014 phev won't go into ready.

Brake light comes on when applying the brake pedal and start button at starting up. On a 2019 PHEV that is, don't know about earlier PHEV's.

"EV System Service Required and degraded performance

I know how cell monitorering works in theory, but how it's implemented in the PHEV i have no idea. This was in Denmark, and the Mitsubishi dealer/import did the work on transport and kontakt to the EV-workshop. A varanty job, so not a lot of details to us.

"EV System Service Required and degraded performance

Our PHEV did something similar, differing in comming to a complete halt. Minutes later going again. It got worse over some weeks, and later testing on rollers in a specialist EV-workshop ended in changing a cell monitoring unit. After the repair the car has worked flawless.

Is there a technical reason a Phev can't be flat towed, either in the off or ready state?

Mitsubishi uses permanent magnet electrical motors, which electrically unloaded generate very high voltages when towed. In off state there will be no control of these potentially damaging voltages.

WARNING: Phev 2022 Regen Braking Hopeless

No need to start the ICE, the generator can easily bring the ICE up to speed. But brakes are more efficient, and cheaper when worn out.

WARNING: Phev 2022 Regen Braking Hopeless

It's all about one-pedal-drive. When the battery can't cope with the energy from retarding, the car has to "waste" the energy elsewhere. That could be done by feeding electricity to the generator, making og act like an electrical motor driving the ICE, (just like it does when starting the ICE)...
