It may not have a CVT transmission but it uses a CVT Auto fluid as lubricant/coolant!

But it's not a true Atkinson engine...it's solely manipulation of the variable valve timing. An Atkinson engine is much more complex than that involving changes to piston timing. :o

You've discovered the problem with PHEV Watchdog...it's almost meaningless to the uninitiated! However the only number that I find relevant in that lot is 93.4% which is the state of health of the battery, which I think means how much of its useable life is left. It's a shame the app is not...

Any auxiliary item used in the car including the heater fans and heated seats will drain the 12V battery. The electric heating source and I think the heated windscreen are fed by the traction battery. You need to get the car to full Ready mode before running any accessories in the car so that...

I suggest you get an electrician in to check the earthing arrangements for the charger and for your house! When I renovated my house a while back I discovered that there was no house main earth! :o There is now. :lol:

The car needs to be in 'Ready' if you want to use 12V to power anything. That is the only way the traction battery can recharge the 12V battery when not driving or charging.

There has been discussion on forums and Farcebook about changing both front and rear transmission oils even though Mitsubishi don't suggest it. My recollection is that oils are said to be very black on draining so the conclusion was do it. Not sure what mileage was recommended though. I'll be...

I'm not sure if those will fit as I haven't looked in detail, however I have upgraded a couple of other cars with Peugeot/Citroen 'Mist' jets similar to those and they work really well. I would add however that I found to my cost that the Chinese made versions don't work well whereas genuine...

My understanding is that there is a pump within the heating/cooling system that circulates coolant around the car either from the engine or electric heater. This pump has been reported to fail.
