Does the aerial come off easily?

We had an issue with the aerial getting caught on the garage door every time. Not a big deal just annoying. I unscrewed it and replaced with a shark fin one I purchased from ebay. Simple to do and personally I think it looks better. Check out ebay.

Chargemaster charging points - UK Installation

I had my charge point fitted by chargemaster last week and it was perfect. Nothing further to pay (providing you have the standard install) and communication was excellent. They do offer upgrades for additional cost but the standard install will be more than adequate for the phev. Some have gone...

    Alternatives to British Gas

Hi all, Just had my charge point fitted by Chargemaster. Didn't cost a penny and the job was done well by the fitter. The unit looks pretty good, well, as good a charge point could look I guess. I would highly recommend chargemaster. All I need now is the actual car :( Doesn't arrive for a...

    Premium petrol

Well you learn something everyday! I thought the engine acted like a generator for the electric motors but wasn't actually connected to the drive system. If it is connected and provides direct power then i think it would be worth using premium petrol. I know for my Audi (soon to be gone) A6 i...

    Premium petrol

Hi all With the PHEV engine technically not powering the drive system directly (forgive me if I've used the wrong terminology) as it acts as a generator for the electrical motors. Is there any point in using premium fuel?

Paint protection - is it worth it

Looking forward to getting our phev late September. I have been considering getting a paint protection detail added to the car when we collect it. My question is are they worth doing? Looks like it will cost £250, not sure at the moment.

    Optimum tyre pressure

I usually run my car at around 32 PSI but wanted to see what others are running the PHEV on and if it makes a difference to the MPG or ev range. Regards John

    Discounts available?

We havernt taken delivery of the car yet but it's on order. We managed to get an extra £2500 off above the £5000 government discount. We used carwow and was excellent. I showed the details to my local dealer and he said he wouldn't match the deal. His loss I guess because we placed an order from...

    3KW or 7KW charge point

Hi all, New to the forum after purchasing a new Outlander PHEV and really looking forward when it is delivered towards the end of September. I am looking to have a charge point installed in the garage and see there are two options for the charge at 3KW or 7KW. I am thinking of getting the 7KW...
