Upgrade report, OLD vs. NEW Outlander. Differences found.

I've had my new one for 3 weeks now, it is better than the old one ( which was brilliant) . I can vouch for the extra 1 mile of range - I managed 33+ the other day on twisty stop start roads . Items I can add are:- The ride is better and the whole look and feel is more premium. The tail gate...

Logging EV Miles vs Actual Miles Achieved

My gx3h+ yesterday achieved 33.1 miles before ice fired up. Low speeds ,flat, country lanes and urban stop start, very gentle driving , all in Drive no use of regen controls, 13* wet roads, no heat or a/c . Best I ever achieved in my old gx3h was33.9 - in better conditions.

I've had my old GX3h since July 2014 and have logged all my petrol so I thought I...

    Towing with the PHEV

I've towed my small caravan twice now, it's about 1 ton laden, petrol mpg towing is about 25 mpg not allowing for my initial full charge. Both journeys About 150 miles and involved hills - shap summit and lakes ,and Yorkshire for the TDF. It's important to save charge for the very hilly bits (...
