14 mile range for 2018 Outlander PHEV, normal?

On the opening screen, at the very top in the centre there is a little green tab. Drag it down and you get the title "PHEV Watchdog Lite" (in my case) and to the right side are 3 dots. Flattened auxiliary battery - any consequences?

How does the Aux. battery get charged normally? If it was flat and then got a booster charge, how can I make sure that it stays charged when my car is sat in the driveway for weeks because I'm old and self-isolating from Covid-19? Do I need to keep booster charging it regularly?
