Has anyone had to have the SUB-BMU replaced in their Outlander? My 2020 had an "EV system service required" issue which I discussed in a separate thread, and the resolution was to replace the SUB-BMU. I am obviously concerned that a critical part should fail so early, and not sure if the part...

Just got the car back. They replaced the sub-BMU under warranty. Not sure why it failed.

I may have misheard them. Now they are saying the Body Control Module is faulty.

I had a similar set of symptoms (see my recent post) and the dealer initially thought it was the 12V battery as well. And they asked me if I didn't drive it much also. I responded we had just driven ~300 miles the day before. They cleared the codes and the symptoms returned after they hooked it...

The dealer has determined that the cause of the issue is a faulty Engine Control Unit. Seems strange for such a new car, but I don’t have any better answers.

Update: I bought a Heatshield, and the fit is spot-on. I'm not sure yet if I like the roll-up as much as the folding shade, but time will tell. Also not being rigid it sags a little in the middle but I'm thinking some velcro might help.

I have a 2020 SEL and would like to find a good sunshade for the windshield. I bought a Covercraft sunshade but found that it doesn't fit how I expected - it's not wrapping around the LDW box properly. Does anyone have a sunshade they like?
