How To Charge At A Charging Station

Hi, I live on Kangaroo Island and run a 2021 GSR, the guessometer ranges from 42 to 47kms on a full 240v charge. At the moment my trip into Parndana and home gives me an actual ev range of 39kms on normal. 5kms on tracks and the rest on Tarmac. Generally happy with the car except for the...

12 Volt Lithium Battery and Accessory Mode.

I buy through Ebay, Aliexpress, Temu and Vevor regularly and am more than satisfied with my purchases especially their tracking. Having bought 2 items from Australian vendors lately and had them delivered to our local freight depot and having had no tracking advice available until they arrived...

    B mode

English is a wonderful language, always in a state of flux, just look at Chaucer or Shakespeare and see how it evolves. If you want an amusing experience have a look at the BBC pidgin page and read it out loud. https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/topics/c0823e52dd0t

Roof load capacity - Outlander PHEV 2018

Slightley off topic, but I am highly amused by the number of toutests in twincabs here on KI who are sporting bright orange sand ladders on their roof racks. Are they really that bad at driving off road?? We went 12 years in the middle east in the 80s 90s and did a lot of exploring, mind you we...

2023 vs. 2017-2022 Outlander PHEV suspension lift

I think this is our only option in Oz as anything else appears to be illegal. Any pushback from the tyre fitters?

What did you do with your Outlander today?

Drove to the False Cape Cellar with friends last Saturday for a pleasant pizza and a couple of bottles of their finest. 60 kms on the unsealed roads here is a real pain as the GRS's 'upgraded' suspension is too stiff to be comfortable. Drove the Disco to town and it's a real pleasure.

2023 PHEV Outlander soft rear suspension

Seeing as how the Bilsteins were standard fittings on the 2021 GRS, they should obtainable from Mitsubishi?

2023 PHEV Outlander soft rear suspension

My 2021 GRS has stiffer suspension fitted as standard and feels every bump in the road. I've also looked at a lift kit, but they are not legal in Oz, god knows what it would do to the warranty, or insurance anyway. I will be looking at bigger tyres in the future.

Extend battery with 94 cels lipo4

I would have though a range extending trailer would be a better option, I note that the new Cybertrucks, long range pack takes up 50% of the load space, so you can go further but carry less?

    18 months of ownership

Fitted from new, I had a short commute in town and got 52 or3 kms average over 3 days.
