I checked the type 1 to type 2 cable per instructions: https://evbitz.uk/Cable_Repair_Service.html 1. continuity L N PE CP 2. resistance between the PP and PE got 677 Ohm 3. microswitch function: PP - PE resistance 150R and 350R All tests ok. The cable is Walther branded. Seems of good quality.

Its 2013. Yes it charges from the petrol engine. Yes, it charges with the 10A home charger.
