Humming noise from boot

Hi,

When charging or discharging battery I can hear electric humming noise, seems coming out from boot. Sound volume depend on amount of electric power.
Is it normal? Or can be symptom eg. loose connectors?
Car had preciously accident in back, maybe there is lack of some silencing materials.

Any help appreciated,

Without checking the service manual, my guess is that it’s a fan in the ac charger unit, which is located in the boot.

Hey did you ever resolve this? I have just bought a second hand MY16 and have the same issue, high pitched electric fizzing/buzzing sound when accelerating or regen braking, and it increases the more I accelerate.

Stops when coasting/foot off accelerator or at a stand still.
